Freemasons Interview – Celebrating 100th Loopmasters Artist Series Release

Recently Loopmasters released the 100th part of their Artist Series. The Freemasons 100% Remix Tools got that honour! LoopTV went to James Wiltshire for an interesting interview. They not only talked about the 100% Remix Tools pack but James let us in on what kind of tools they like in their studio, their production style and the work that went into the production of the loop and sample pack.

The Freemasons duo started productions nearly six years ago. They first came to club land’s’ attention with the much loved, Jackie Moore sampling — ‘Love On My Mind’ which quickly made the quantum leap from UK Dancefloors, into the charts and the Freemasons were off to a running start.

This was followed by a succession of mega hits including ‘Watchin’ featuring Amanda Wilson, ‘Rain Down Love’, ‘Uninvited’ an Alanis Morissette cover, ‘When You Touch Me’ with Katherine Ellis on vocals, and ‘Heartbreak Make Me Dancer’ with Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Having cemented their name with clubbers and industry as alike and as one of the UK’s most successful remix and production partnerships – The Freemasons have also been a major international act for several years with DJ gigs taking them across the world from Rio, all over Europe, Egypt , Korea and beyond.

With an enviable remix career, remixing artists including Whitney Houston, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, Shakira, Alexandra Burke, and Taio Cruz, plus more recent releases with vocalist Wynter Gordon, and most recently a club mix of Katy Perry’s ‘Part Of Me’, the guys are showing no signs of resting on their laurels!

Loopmasters are very proud that they have become the 100th Artist release for Loopmasters, and in this video James explains how they set about making the sample pack.
