Sinevibes releases two new AU plugins – Inertia and Cluster

Sinevibes are extremely happy to announce the release of two all-new (AudioUnit) plugins: Inertia envelope sequencer and Cluster animated filter.

Inertia

Add rhythmic motion to any instrument. Slice, accent and shuffle drum loops. Bring life into static sounds. Inertia is everything you’ll ever need from an envelope sequencer.

Variable complexity. Inertia runs a sequence of up to 32 envelopes, each with one of 8 different shapes. Thanks to adjustable speed, swing, time and lag, it takes no time to go from a simple tremolo pattern to really elaborate rhythmical modulation. Plus, you can store 8 separate sequences per each preset – for switching live or track automation.

Universally useful. Envelope modulation is widely used across many music genres for creating various gating, pulsating and slicing effects. Being incredibly flexible, Inertia works just as well on synths, pads, and drum beats, as it does with guitars, strings or even vocals. It’s one of the most essential tools in today’s producer’s setup.

Follows your flow. Thanks to a very straightforward, yet stylish, colour-coded interface, you will be instantly familiar with Inertia. There are many productivity aids built in, allowing you to easily randomise or repeat sequences, and even copy them between presets. All this makes Inertia truly blend into what you do – regardless of your style and technique.

Cluster

Apply intricate spectral transformations. Re-engineer drum and percussion loops. Create colourful motion textures virtually out of anything. Cluster is one plugin that does a myriad of filter effects.

Spectral constructor. Cluster is smoothly cycling through a filter matrix with up to 32 steps, which includes low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-reject modes per each step. With the filter slope adjustable from soft -12 to extra-steep -48 dB/octave, the variety of different effects you can achieve is immense.

Modulation paradise. Each sequencer step allows to select one of 8 envelope shapes for modulating the filter cutoff and resonance. Parameters such as speed, swing, time and lag are widely adjustable to precisely recreate the rhythmical feel you’re after. Eight separate sequences are stored in each preset, greatly extending what you can do with Cluster playing live or via automation.

Connected experience. Cluster has a clean, sleek design with colour-coded graphics. The controls are laid out to let you see all the action at once, while still keeping the look neat and tidy. Like with all of our products, Cluster barely has any learning curve – once you open the interface, it feels like you’ve already used it.

Compatibility

Inertia and Cluster work with Logic, GarageBand, Live, MainStage, Maschine, Digital Performer, Studio One, ReNoise, Reaper, Bidule and other software that supports Audio Unit effect plugins. It comes in 32/64 bit format for Intel Macs running OS X 10.6 or later, and supports Retina screen resolution.
