Serato has released Serato DJ 1.8.1, a free update that includes important stability improvements for all users as well as support for some Pioneer device specific drivers for Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Serato Head of Product Strategy, Nick Maclaren says: “Stability and performance is the most important thing for every DJ. It’s great to follow up on the recent feature heavy 1.8 release with a nice stability release that’s full of bug fixes and El Capitan support.”
Bug Fixes and Optimisations
- A range of performance, graphical and memory optimisations
- Fixes for potential crashes, hangs and memory leaks
- Mac OS X 10.11 specific driver support for Pioneer devices (Pioneer DJM-850, DJM-900NXS, DJM-900SRT, DJM-S9 and DDJ-SZ). Other devices may already be supported – check here.
