Trillium Lane Labs, a leading developer of audio software for professionals in the recording and post-production industries, today announced TL Aggro and TL AutoPan, new effects plug-ins for the Digidesign Pro Tools platform.
TL Aggro brings the personality of analog style compression to Pro Tools, with authentic musical compression modeled on vintage FET compressors. At moderate settings, TL Aggro is designed to sound smooth and transparent, perfect for vocals and acoustic instruments. Crank TL Aggro up for maximum aggressiveness and it instantly adds character and intensity to guitars and drum tracks. The advanced DSP algorithms in TL Aggro use a feedback topology with a program dependent release time which yields more natural compression characteristics. TL Aggro also provides optional low frequency compensation, perfect for compressing full mixes or bass instruments, and support for linked stereo operation.

TL AutoPan takes Pro Tools stereo and surround effects processing into the 21st century, with an armada of panning effects based on classic analog panning units. The flexible tempo synchronization, trigger and envelope detection features first seen in TL EveryPhase now power TL AutoPan’s rhythmic, musical panning effects ranging from the subtle to the extreme. TL AutoPan includes graphic metering of output and pan position for precise control of panning effects.
Trillium Lane Labs will be demonstrating TL Aggro and TL AutoPan at the Digiworld event located at Digidesign Headquarters in Daly City, California, on Saturday, October 30, 2004.
Pricing and Availability:
TL Aggro and TL AutoPan will be available for Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools HD systems on Macintosh OS X and Windows XP in late November 2004. Pricing information and downloadable demos will be available from www.tllabs.com at that time.
