Steinberg to offer Renovator support in WaveLab 5

Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH today announced an upcoming update to its WaveLab audio editing and mastering application that will offer instant integration of the Algorithmix® reNOVAtor™ mastering, sound repair and audio forensic plug-in.

The German-based company Algorithmix is a leading developer of state-of-the-art software for sound mastering, restoration, and forensic audio. Its acclaimed reNOVAtor™ plug-in has previously only been available for higher-priced applications, and as a stand-alone version. “The integration of reNOVAtor™ further strengthens the position of WaveLab 5 as a professional mastering, restoration and audio forensic application,” comments Claus Menke, Steinberg’s Head of Product Management. “In opening up WaveLab for integration with this product, we are providing direct access to some of the best audio renovation technology available today,” he continues.
