Voxengo updates several plug ins!

Voxengo recently released several updates for the following plug ins: Transmodder, GlissEQ, HarmoniEQ and Vintage Modular.

Transmodder update v1.2 has been released. Transmodder is a transient-driven filtering system in PC VST plug-in format. This update features several minor fixes and several visual and functional improvements: transient analyzer’s center frequency is now displayed and can be adjusted on the graphical screen; Lvl.Grp parameter of the transient analyzer renamed to Env.Cmp (envelope compression) to reduce confusion.

Transmodder features:

* Four transient analyzers

* Five dynamic filters

* Real-time spectrum analyzer

* Transient detection meters

* Mid/side channel processing

* High quality mode

* Factory presets

* “A-to-B” comparisons

* Mono-to-Stereo, Stereo-to-Stereo processing

* All sample rates supported

* 64-bit internal precision

* Native assembler DSP code

GlissEQ VST 2.6 released – A new version of GlissEQ–dynamic equalizer with real-time interchannel spectrum overlays. This version features several minor improvements: a small rearrangement of the Import and EQ mode buttons introduced; GlissEQ now features
input-output RMS difference counter.

The most useful improvement is that now state of both Mute and Solo switches of the filters is reflected on the frequency response plot. This may help you to remember which filters you should unmute or unsolo if they were previously muted or soloed.

Voxengo GlissEQ features:

* Convenient user interface

* Five filter bands

* Eight filter types

* Real-time spectrum analyzer

* Full/bar spectrum graph modes

* Interchannel spectrum overlays

* Bandpass filter sweeping

* Extra efficient Dyn 0 mode

* High quality mode

* The “Alt” quality mode

* Three dynamic modes

* “A-to-B” comparisons

* Factory presets

* Mono-to-Stereo, Stereo-to-Stereo processing

* Any sample rate is supported

* Internal 64-bit processing

* Native assembler DSP code

Version 1.2 of HarmoniEQ – a harmonically-enhanced equalizer in PC VST plug-in format. This version update features only a single, but–nevertheless–a very useful, improvement: the “PhasyP” EQ sound mode.

This “PhasyP” mode was designed to reduce CPU utilization of the plug-in to minimum while maintaining excellent sonic performance. Indeed, this PhasyP mode applies a soft harmonic enhancement like all other modes do. Beside this, PhasyP offers our latest findings in the “harshless” equalization performance: this mode should match in sound analog equalizers known for their smooth sound. PhasyP mode is best used at the Normal quality setting where its CPU requirements are low.

For your instance, ease of tuning was one of our main goals when designing this plug-in. That is why HarmoniEQ features a single control surface to control the equalizer curve, without any knobs. HarmoniEQ’s control surface workflow implements our best findings in the area of “user-equalizer” interaction. This allowed us to offer the user 3 shelving and 4 bell-shaped filters without making HarmoniEQ a hard-to-fine-tune device.

Voxengo HarmoniEQ features:

* 4 bell-shaped filter bands

* Low-shelf filter band

* 2 high-shelf filter bands

* Four different EQ sound modes

* Special Boost mode

* Special Woofer mode

* “A-to-B” comparisons

* Factory presets

* Mono-to-Stereo, Stereo-to-Stereo processing

* Any sample rate is supported

* Internal 64-bit processing

* Native assembler DSP code

Vintage Modulator VST 1.2 released – Version 1.2 features operator count selector which allows you to switch between simple and complex modulation sound; feedback can be negative now; wet modulated signal can be inverted now.

Introduction of the operator count selector created a possibility of dialing in of a simple classic flanger sound: check the new ‘Classic Flange’ preset out for the demonstration of this sound. For your information, Voxengo Vintage Modulator is a stereo modulation PC VST plug-in which features 8 operators (4 for each output channel). This allows Vintage Modulator to create huge and convincing chorus, phaser and flanger modulation effects.

Vintage Modulator features:

* Vintage sound mode

* Through time zero design

* Factory presets

* “A-to-B” comparisons

* Mono-to-Stereo, Stereo-to-Stereo processing

* All sample rates supported

* 64-bit internal precision

* Native assembler DSP code
