Ok and that is about it what we know of EVO5 ‘project’ by Ecler. Like many manufacturers teasers are being set up to get as curious about their new products which will be unveiled at the coming MusikMesse in Frankfurt.
Is this the answer to the new Korg Dj tools like the KAOSS Pads? Is it a continuation of the NUO series?
We don’t know. But as soon as we know, … you know!
Update:
As time progresses, details are leaking onto the internet. Here are some details we picked out on the EVO5 specs:
– the EVO5 will have an integrated 12-channel FireWire sound card
– … an open effect processor with two effect generators
– general MIDI controls so it can be used as a controller
– all functions of the mixer are MIDI controllable, up to 64 layouts can be used
– a TFT colour display
– presets for the most popular programs like Ableton Live and tractor NI are provided
Nothing has been confirmed yet by Ecler! These are still just rumours. To be definately certain we just have to wait untill the upcoming MusikMesse.
