ADAM announces A5 Studio Monitors

Building on the success of the extremely popular A7, ADAM Audio announces the expansion of the A Series with the new A5 Powered Monitor. Designed using the same technologies as the existing ADAM monitors employed in many top recording studios around the world, the A5s compact size and attractive price point of $699 per pair make it an excellent choice for a plethora of audio applications.

API announces Model 500-6B Lunchbox

The API Model 500-6B Lunchbox is a six position rack designed to accept all API standard 5.25 X 1.5 modules. This allows an engineer the flexibility to bring along specialized EQ effects to any situation: 550A, 550B or 560. The Lunchbox is self-powered, with a rear panel selected AC voltage switch, and a removable power cord. The input/output jacks are XLR.

Yamaha Aannounces the MM8

In the wake of the successful MM6 Mini Mo synthesizer, Yamaha Corporation of America announces the new MM8 Music Synthesizer. Like the MM6, the MM8 features sounds from the popular Motif Series, real-time control, street-smart grooves, seemless computer integration, and adds an 88-note Graded Hammer action Yamaha keyboard.

The AUDIOGRAM Series has been carefully designed to make setting up your computer-based recording environment an absolute breeze. Coming as a complete kit, the AUDIOGRAM6 and AUDIOGRAM3 each bundle together a hardware interface that adds audio inputs and outputs to your computer, software for recording and producing music, and a USB cable for connecting the audio interface.

EKS Otus controller … but slightly different

From the guys at EKS we got this render of a slightly different OTUS controller. If you look closely you see round knobs instead of the square ones. We were told that it will get some new features as well but that is where the scoop ends because they wouldnt tell us what those features would be! Hmmmm! Pricetag will be around 700 euros.
