At this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), 365LIVE and Media Satellite present a series of workshops and audiovisual jam sessions, including an introduction to Ableton Max for Live, a fully integrated tool kit for making your own instruments, effects and extensions in Ableton Live 8.
We are proud to present Ben Liebrand (NL), famous for his Grand Mix compilations and remixes for Phil Collins and INXS, who will present an interactive Ableton Live masterclass. The grand finale in this workshop evening is a production masterclass by Francois K. (USA). Francois K. is one of the most influential DJ/producers we know, with successful remixes and productions for Kraftwerk, U2, Diana Ross, the Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, and others. In addition, all visitors get a free UDG DJ bag full of product info and goodies.
At 3:00 PM, the Sugar Factory will open for SHARE Amsterdam, an audio visual group that will show their skills with Cycling ’74 Max and audiovisual software. It will be an afternoon for artists and technicians to display their unfinished projects and meet other people. Prepare for installations, nice people, workshops, DJs, VJs, intriguing techniques and never-before-seen hardware and software. During the evening workshops, SHARE Amsterdam will show their work and productions created during the afternoon session.
