Ableton LIVE Workshop – The Akai Edition – Amsterdam

This workshop will be focused on Akai’s dedicated Ableton Live APC Controllers. The APC 40 and APC 20 are the world’s finest Ableton Live control surfaces. Ableton and Akai Professional worked in a joint partnership to make the APC the perfect Ableton LIVE control surface. Whether you are an electronic music performance artist and LIVE is your canvass, a DJ using LIVE to mix tracks, or a traditional musician using LIVE on stage or in the studio, the APC is designed for intuitive, powerful control.

The workshop will be hosted by Martin Rascher; Ableton and AKAI pro user since many years. Martin is a freelance music producer, sound artist and keyboard player, working in different musical styles. Born in Cologne, Germany, he received a classical piano education from age 6 on. Since 1996 he has been involved in different bands and music projects, from Reggae to Pop and Electronic Music to Death-Metal. His main focus lies on sound collages, samples and experimental sounds. In 2005 he moved to Amsterdam to study pop piano at the Conservatory. In 2010 he started the recording studio and music production Random Robots together with Valentin von Lindenau. Right now he’s playing Keyboards en Samples in the Rob van de Wouw Band (Amsterdam).
