Discontinuation of several Abbey Road plugins announced

As of October 2013, Abbey Road have discontinued the sale of the TG12413 Limiter, TG Mastering Pack and RS124 Compressor plugins. Existing customers with valid licences will be able to continue to use the plugins within compatible DAWs, however, there will be no further updates to the software.

According to Abbey Road: “Changes to operating systems and music software since we launched the first Abbey Road plugin in 2006 have made it increasingly difficult to maintain compatibility and provide the level of support our customers deserve. We have been unable to find a viable solution that will allow us to guarantee ongoing support for the TG12413 Limiter, TG Mastering Pack and RS124 Compressor plugins and, as of October 2013, have withdrawn these products from sale. These plugins will continue to work in compatible DAWs but there will be no further updates to the software, including 64bit or AAX. Existing customers with valid licences can still download the most recent software installers using the links provided here.

The Brilliance Pack Continues

This pack is not being discontinued and will be upgraded to 64 bit and the AAX format by Softube, the original plugin developer, who will also take on all distribution and support for the plugin moving forwards. The Brilliance Pack has been temporarily withdrawn from sale while it is updated. We expect this update to be available by the end of 2013. Further information regarding how to register for the free update will be sent to all Brilliance Pack customers via email.
