Native Instruments Molekular: An Introduction (Video)

Native Instruments reputation for high-quality production software, be it through their comprehensive groove box Maschine, amp and pedal simulator Guitar Rig, modular sound design environment Reaktor or various soft synths and samplers, has made them a regular on the hard drives of some of the biggest names in production, engineering and songwriting. While they are now a truly global company, they haven’t strayed too far from their sound design roots, with more experimental sample libraries and Reaktor ensembles regularly rolling out of their Berlin base.

MOLEKULAR Multi Effects

Their latest product – a powerful and flexible effects plugin called Molekular – is a nod to the more radical concepts of Reaktor with a user-friendly interface and incredibly powerful sound engine. Based around a ‘chain’ of effects, Molekular is all about creative sound design, using signal routing and modulation to completely transform sounds. Point Blank were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the new plugin and they’ve made four tutorial videos, explaining exactly how Molekular works and how to use it in your music.

You can watch the other videos on the Point Blank Youtube page and make sure you subscribe to their YouTube channel for more free tutorials and live events.
