Native Instruments today introduced Crystal Daggers – a new Maschine Expansion that captures sound of contemporary mainstream electronic music. Crystal Daggers runs in the latest Maschine 2.3 software on Maschine Studio, Maschine, or Maschine Mikro and is available exclusively at the NI Online Shop. A compact version for iMachine is also available via the iMachine in-app store.
Crystal Daggers is perfectly cut for mainstream electronic styles with sharp basses, thick beats, shimmering synths, and intricate melodies. The sound blends anthemic electronic dance music with elements of underground hip-hop and R&B for an invigorating hybrid. With grimy basses, synths, heavy drums and glitched-out percussion, Crystal Daggers is a snapshot of an exciting musical subgenre that is still developing.
Crystal Daggers features a varied range of kits, including melodic, tonal, and vocal kits. 40 Massive presets focus on powerful analog-synth leads, sub basses, stabs, and sequences. 20 exclusive Monark presets deliver exactly what the synth does best: full, rounded, organic bass and lead sounds. The patterns in Crystal Daggers vary from energetic club-focused rhythms to much slower, bass-heavy, downtempo beats.
A compact version of Crystal Daggers is also available as an iMachine Expansion, for creating beats on the go. Tracks can be exported to Maschine Studio, Maschine, and Maschine Mikro for completion.
Crystal Daggers is available now at the NI Online Shop for $49 / 49 € / £44 / ¥ 5,680 / AU$ 79 and runs in the Maschine 2 software. The iMachine expansion is available at the iMachine in-app store for $0.99 / 0,89 € / £0.69 / ¥ 100 / AU$ 0.99.
