Gearjunkies video – E-MU Audity 2000 synthesizer module overview and sound demo

It’s Wednesday again, so it’s time for a new video. Marc van den Hurk has unscrewed the E-MU Audity 2000 synthesizer module from his rack from his own synthesizer collection.

In this vlog you get a short description of the Audity 2000, and you can hear a number of sound demos that Marc has played.

The E-MU Audity 2000 is a synthesizer module released in 1998. The Audity 2000 owes its name to the vintage E-MU Audity from 1979, but that’s it. Well, not entirely, because the Audity 2000 has the same synthesis architecture as the Proteus, and this was based on the original Audity

The E-MU Audity 2000 is a digital synthesizer with on board 16 arpeggiators, 64 polyphony, 12-pole digital resonant filter, difital effects, six analog outputs and an S / PDIF digital output.

The De E-MU Audity 2000 is a synthesizer that can be heard in many techno and dance productions from the late 90s and early 2000s.
