Gearjunkies video – the Tierra Audio Gravity VCA Bus Compressor in 16 minutes

It’s Wednesday again, so it’s time for a new video. Today we have in our test laboratory the Gravity, the analogue VCA bus compressor from the Spanish Tierra Audio.

In this video Stefan explains what a bus compressor is and what it does, and you get an explanation about the Gravity. It also sends the audio signal from vocals, an SH-101 and the Roland TR-8S drum machine through the compressor, so you can hear a bus compressor doing the signal.

Update: A note from Tierra audio: Stefan comments in the video that “one tree per unit was used and because of that the company commits to planting one tree per produced unit as a compensation”. In fact this is not the case. For our wood front panels we use cherry wood, extracted from sustainably managed forests, but not a whole tree. The decision to plant a tree for each product sold is part of our TIERRA GREEN project, which was born with the commitment to give back to the Earth what we have taken from it.
