Orchestral Tools announces the release of Berlin Symphonic Strings, a new addition to the comprehensive Berlin Series orchestral sample libraries.
With samples drawn from exceptionally large string sections, Berlin Symphonic Strings delivers rich, cinematic sound for creating vivid string arrangements. Combining unparalleled playability with impeccable musicality, Berlin Symphonic Strings sets a new standard for sampled orchestral strings. Berlin Symphonic Strings is available exclusively from the Orchestral Tools online store for a special intro price of €399 from Dec 17 until January 3, 2021. The regular price for the collection is €549.
Anyone who already owns Berlin Strings can purchase the collection for a special crossgrade price of €299. Berlin Symphonic Strings extends the sonic possibilities of the Berlin Series by capturing the sound of very large string sections. The library incorporates 68 instruments across 5 sections: First violins, second violins, violas, celli, and basses. All instruments were recorded at Berlin’s Teldex Scoring Stage in situ, with musicians in traditional seating positions, to provide a balanced, organic sound out of the box.
The new library raises the bar for playability and realism. Three new, innovative legato modes—designed for slow melodies, ostinato patterns, and fast runs—enable users to produce authentic phrases with musical transitions and natural vibrato. Four dynamic levels plus numerous articulations enable maximum expression. Developed for TV, film, and gaming composers, Berlin Symphonic Strings offers complete consistency with the other libraries in the Berlin Series. Users can seamlessly incorporate this library with any of the others in the series to create a customized virtual orchestra for any project.
