Steinberg Nuendo 4.3 soon available

Steinberg is pleased to announce that the new maintenance update for the Nuendo 4 advanced audio and post production system will be available for all registered Nuendo 4 users from July 31 as a free download from the Steinberg website. Version 4.3 mainly focuses on improving the overall stability of the program by addressing important issues like file import, surround and general session handling.

Rob Papen shows the new RP-Verb plugin

Rob announced that the development of his new plugin RP-Verb is in its final stages. Beta testing is next. A release would be possible later this month, depending on the beta test of course. RP-Verb will not be a ‘convolution reverb’. This reverb is based on a new algorithm by RCPX (Rob Papen and Jon Ayres). What we know already is that it gives the processed audio a surprisingly warm sound and new types of colouring. Looking at the GUI and the details, that have been released, we can’t hide the fact we are kinda excited.

The Los Angeles Times, citing city and law enforcement officials, reported late this afternoon that the singer was dead after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles around 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Such a sad loss, especially for his family and for all musicians he inspired with his great music!
