Spectrasonics has developed a special, easy-to-use support solution that allows Atmosphere and Trilogy users to use their original instruments on Intel Mac computers. The free Public Beta version is now available for download in the Support Knowledge Base.
Spectrasonics today announced to the public its new Educational Program designed to put its three award winning virtual instruments, Atmosphere(r), Trilogy(r) and Stylus RMX(r), into music technology classrooms around the world. The new program creates an efficient and easy way for educational institutions to apply for special software licenses for their classroom computers, at a significantly reduced price.
Spectrasonics has released new Audio Units (AU) updates of their virtual instrument plug-ins Trilogy, Atmosphere and Classic Stylus. The AU updates add compatibility for Apples new Macintosh OS X version 10.4, code named Tiger, as well as AU Validation for Apple Logic 7, sample rate and tuning fixes and all known MOTU Digital Performer 4.52 and higher issues including a muting problem and lost presets when bouncing mixes to disk.
All current AU, VST and RTAS versions of Stylus RMX are Tiger compatible and do not need updating at this time. The current VST and RTAS versions Atmosphere, Trilogy and Classic Stylus do not need updating for OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility.
