Last year The Pacemaker was introduced to us as the ‘First professional Pocket-size DJ-System’. And then …. it got quiet. But now they are back in full effect and have set a final release date. Pacemaker.net have opened the pre-booking. By pre-booking a place in line to a premiere edition Pacemaker will be guaranteed. Also by pre-booking, you’ll be on the list of pilot beta testers of the computer client (editor software) and web community for sharing mixes.
To ensure that Pacemaker delivers on its promise – the highest possible standard in quality, performance and durability – the premiere edition launch date has been moved forward eight weeks, to mid February.
– Pacemaker Device is in perfect sync with Pacemaker Editor, the cross-platform computer application. All mixes created on any of the two is transferable to the other, as playable and editable mixes in both platforms – meaning that you can bring any mix anywhere, and continue mixing, adjusting and refining as you like.
Pacemaker Device & Editor supports the following audio formats:
• MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, FLAC, WAV, AAC (8 to 256 Kbps), Ogg-Vorbis.
– In December Pacemaker music community will be launched – a meeting place, a hotspot, a centrifuge and melting pot for music inspiration. Mixes created on Pacemaker Device and/or Editor can be uploaded via the Editor for publishing onto the community and be listened to by any and all with an Internet connection.
By sharing music tastes with each other, they hope to bring us all closer to the music we love – and closer to the music we don’t yet know we can’t live without.
According to the Pacemaker website a price has been set of Euro 520 (without Tax or Shipment). If you are interested in the Pacemaker make sure you get your pre-booking in as soon as possible as the interest is ‘overwhelming’.
