New products from Drawmer

Drawmer have recently announced two new products. First one is the new S2 Signature Series Dual Channel Tube Compressor, the latest product to emerge from Ivor Drawmer’s high end designs. And then there is the Kickbox 4×4, an “all terrain” 4 in/16 out mic/line signal splitter.

Drawmer S2
The new S2 Signature Series Dual Channel Tube Compressor offers an ‘all tube – no technical compromise’ circuit using only the highest grade components. The S2 features a host of new creative processing possibilities never before found in an all analogue dynamics package.

BIG- Retains bass frequencies and minimizes undesirable ‘pumping’ by rolling off the detection signal at 75, 125 or 250Hz (user switchable). Afully variable level control allows for the desired amount of Big processing and an in/out switch provides the option to remove from the signal path for A/B comparison.

BRIGHT- Adynamic high frequency enhancer to keep compressed audio sounding fresh and bright with continuously variable frequency control (500Hz to 20kHz) and amount of dynamic enhancement.

DRY- Mixes user defined amount of ‘uncompressed’ signal with the compressed signal to create ‘parallel compression effect’ without the need for external mixing devices.

Drawmer Kickbox 4×4
The new Kickbox 4×4 is an ‘all terrain’ 4 in/16 out mic/line signal splitter. Its extremely high audio quality, robust build and portability make it the ideal tool to provide multiple outputs for live sound, broadcast coverage, sports events, live recording, press conferences, corporate events and any situation where distribution of high quality audio is required. It incorporates 4 studio grade mic/line pre-amps, each providing up to 66dB of gain and 16 balanced output stages, each with the option of transformer isolation and comprehensive linking facilities.

The 4×4 is supplied as standard in a road proof case with a removable lid for unhindered access to all controls and connections.

Pricing of these products is yet to be announced.
