Digidesign and M-Audio Co-sponsor REMIX Hotel Miami

Digidesign and M-Audio are pleased to participate as proud sponsors of Remix Hotel Miami for three evenings of total technology immersion during Winter Music Conference from March 24-26, 2005, at the beautiful Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort, from 3 PM to 9 PM daily. Remix Hotel, in association with REMIX and URB magazines, will feature music production panels, product demonstrations, celebrity presentations, electronic music performances, and music industry mingling at one of Miami’s most fabulous hotels.


Visit Digidesign and M-Audio at Remix Hotel Miami this year and hear the top artists in the world of dance and electronic music discuss their music production techniques for creating the hot tracks that currently dominate dance floors all over the world. Digidesign-sponsored appearances include internationally renowned DJs and producers BT, Bad Boy Bill, Junkie XL, Hybrid, Carmen Rizzo, Dave Aude, Grandmixer DXT, Jay-J, and Kaskade. M-Audio-sponsored appearances include world-renowned electronic musicians Richard Devine, Murat Uncuoglu, Cedric Gervais, Monk, Chris Hawkes and The Carbon Community demonstrating how they use M-Audio® gear to craft their signature sounds.

In addition to bringing some of the most important figures in dance and electronic music to Remix Hotel Miami, Digidesign will also be hosting interactive workshops featuring Digidesign’s own team of professional product specialists. Attendees who visit Digidesign at Remix Hotel Miami will receive hands-on exposure to Mbox™, Digi 002 Rack™, Digi 002®, and Command|8™ control surfaces. They will also have an opportunity to learn from the source the newest features for composing music with Pro Tools® LE 6.7 software, and check out the new Digidesign® Synchronic™ creative loop manipulation plug-in which offers performing electronic musicians and DJs the ability to sculpt loops and create tempo-based effects in a live setting in real time. Given the fact that Synchronic addresses the special musical needs of DJs and electronic musicians, this exciting new product is sure to generate its share of heat in Miami this year.


Accomplished producer Huston Singletary will host daily workshops to demonstrate M-Audio’s vast array of music production and performance solutions. M-Audio is proud to offer audio/MIDI controllers tailor-made for the electronic music community, including the Ozonic™ and the brand-new Trigger Finger 16-pad MIDI drum control surface. Combined with software like Ableton Live, M-Audio controllers allow DJs to explore entirely new ways of remixing music of any style and tempo, and producing an unlimited number of tracks. Singletary will also demonstrate M-Audio’s Key Rig and Drum and Bass Rig, two virtual racks of gear that give you all the tools you need to create your own pads, bass lines, and much more.
