Native Instruments released TRAKTOR 3.2, an update for its groundbreaking DJ software. The new version brings a wide range of functional enhancements, as well as compatibility with Intel based Macintosh computers.
TRAKTOR 3.2 offers DJs improved creative functionality, reliability and ease of use across the board, with synchronized track mirroring between decks, seamless Hot Cueing and stripe navigation, optimized tempo detection, new WAV tag writing, an enhanced External Mixer mode, extended MIDI controller integration, a revised and extended user manual, and a large number of optimizations and fixes.
The new version also brings enhanced integration with Beatport, the leading digital club music store on the Internet, with a revised TRAKTOR Beatport Store that allows users to browse, purchase and download the latest music releases with maximum convenience directly from within TRAKTOR 3.
TRAKTOR 3.2 also provides support for the FinalScratch 2 hardware, allowing to use the system on Intel-based Macintosh systems under Mac OS X, while providing a significant increase in creative functionality over the standard FinalScratch software. FinalScratch users that do not yet own TRAKTOR can make use of the TRAKTOR 3 Download Upgrade that is available for $ 119 / 99 Euro from the NI Online Shop.
Due to legal considerations, Native Instruments will remove FinalScratch support from all copies of the TRAKTOR software distributed after January 1st, 2007. On that date, a further update for TRAKTOR 3 will be made available that does not support the FinalScratch hardware anymore. Existing installations of TRAKTOR will not be affected unless the update is installed.
Native Instruments will also disclose a further offer early next year to permanently accommodate users of FinalScratch.
