iDrum version 1.7 now available

iZotope has updated iDrum to version 1.7, and it’s a free update for registered iDrum users! iDrum 1.7 incorporates useful new features like support for time signatures other than 4/4 and a simple-to-use song editor that allows you to easily chain patterns together. iDrum now features two separate humanize controls, a “Groove” control and a Swing control, giving you more control over the feel of your beats.

iDrum: Ministry of Sound Anthems
iZotope and Ministry of Sound have released the first album-themed music creation app for the Apple iPhone/iPod touch platforms. iDrum: Ministry of Sound Anthems lets iPhone and iPod touch owners create their own anthemic tracks using classic beats and samples that emulate the most recognizable dance anthems ever. The app is now available on the Apple App Store. This special edition of iDrum is the perfect companion to Ministry of Sound’s latest album representing clubbing history, “Anthems II,” which is also available on the iTunes store.

iDrum Sound Portal Launched
iDrum 1.7 also includes a simple new way to get more iDrum kits. You can instantly link to iDrum Sound Portal by clicking the link in the iDrum 1.7 interface. Kits from Sonic Specialists and Goldbaby are now available on the Sound Portal site, and many more are scheduled to arrive soon. Check out iDrum Sound Portal now to see what’s new!
