Numark new products at the Summer NAMM

Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of DJ technology, announces its several new products which will make their debut at Numark’s booth at the Summer NAMM Show held at the Nashville Convention Center, July 17 – 19.

STEREO|iO is an interface box with a USB cable. One end has female RCA phono plugs for use with virtually any audio equipment from DJ mixers to turntables, and the other end has a USB connector. DJs can connect any line or phono-level gear to their Mac or PC via USB for recording, mixing or processing. DJs can also use STEREO|iO as an output cable from their computer to inputs on an analog mixer, enabling them to mix MP3s and other music from their computer in their traditional DJ mixer.

STEREO|iO is a low-cost problem-solving tool that can be invaluable for DJs and musicians at the gig or in the studio when a connection needs to be made. The class-compliant USB device works plug and play for Mac and PC, requiring no software-driver installtion or external power for operation.

NDX200 is a scratch CD turntable with a heavy, rugged build and a large scratch wheel for comfortable performance. Numark’s Anti-Shock™ buffered skip-protection technology keeps music playing even when vibrations might cause other players to skip.

NDX200 features seamless looping for creating and integrating loops in instant remixes. Single, continuous, and programmable playback enable DJs to create their own playlist, and fader start enables NDX200 to start playing when the DJ moves the crossfader on a compatible mixer.

NDX400 builds upon all of the features and capabilities of NDX200 including scratch, adding some key upgrades. The flexible player not only plays standard CDs but it also can play MP3 CDs for lengthy playback from a single disc. The unit also can play from a USB flash drive for even more music-format flexibility.

NDX400 has advanced braking for vinyl-style startup and stopping of playback, and a reverse mode enables DJs to incorporate special effects. The player also offers three hot cue points for quick access to key points in the track.

Numark also announces two new additions to its CDMIX integrated CD player-mixer systems: iCDMIX 2 and iCDMIX 3. Additionally, Numark is launching a new protective case, CDMIX CASE 3, for the entire line.

Considered an industry standard for over 10 years, Numark CDMIX systems consist of a dual CD player and mixer all together in one easy-to-carry unit for mobile DJs working events, clubs that need to be able to pack away their system quickly and any other DJ on the move. DJs find setup and teardown to be fast and easy with CDMIX systems because they don’t spend as much time running cables and testing levels as with traditional component setups. New models designated with an “i” – iCDMIX 2 and iCDMIX 3 – feature an integrated Universal Dock for iPod, enabling the DJ to play music from virtually any docking iPod. Each CDMIX system is designed for professional use, housed in an all-metal chassis for years of rugged, reliable performance. iCDMIX 2 and iCDMIX 3 also bear rack ears so they can be rack mounted for secure transport.
