Receptor 2 Gets Solid State Drive

Muse Research is debuting a new Solid Sate Drive (SSD) technology option for the RECEPTOR 2 PRO line of hardware plug-in players at the 127th AES show in New York City. SSD dramatically increases the data throughput of the RECEPTOR 2 PRO and PRO MAX for greater polyphony and lower latency, as well as increasing the ruggedness of an already robust design by replacing the traditional rotating hard drive with solid state drive technology with no moving parts.

HG Fortune releases new Arracis Gold VSTi Synthesizer

Arracis Gold VSTi Synthesizer’s most significant feature is the 4 x 8 osc step sequencer with adjustable gatelength + modulation on gatelength. With this step sequencer you can have a quite rhythmical output incl short blips (stepping among the oscillators in selectable sequence) plus mixing to the normal (steady) output signal for vivid Pad or Athmos. Rupert Neve Designs releases Portico II Channel

During the 2009 AES Conference in New York, Rupert Neve Designs will release the Portico II Channel, the first in a new series of rack-mounting modules based on the high voltage single-sided op-amps developed for the 5088 mixer, with a new range of dedicated transformers, and an extensive arsenal of tonal controls.

The Portico II is a self-powered 2U Channel module comprised of a fully featured mic preamplifier, 4-band EQ, compressor-limiter, “texture” control and level metering.
