Nick Hook dives into the Novation Impulse 61 music software controller and makes it the new hub to his hardware-heavy studio. With Impulse linked up to Ableton Live and his 909, he’s able to programme beats, play parts in quickly, tweak plug-ins and trigger clips, all from the controller.
