Propellerheads new DAW – Today is the day? [UPDATE 2]

Last week the rumours emerged on a new spectacular product from the boys from Sweden. It seems to be some new kind of DAW, not another version of Reason! Today (may 9th) the Producers Conferences are held, where this new DAW would be presented to the world. That they will come up with something new is now a fact as Propellerheads have posted a teaser video themselves on Youtube. See it for yourself below.

Waldorf Largo about to be released

The Largo Synthesizer will see the light of day within the merry month of May. The long awaited synthesizer software for Mac and PC is breathing and has already tried to jump out of its incubator. Largos sound engine was injected with all the notorious wavetables of the Microwave, the legendary Wave and also the Q series. The LFO is already rehearsing very complex steps and the filter drive screams as loud as only our little baby can. So be prepared!

de la Mancha new multiband stereo tool released

thr33some is a multi-band stereo tool, to allow you to widen or narrow specific frequencies in your mix. Typical use would be to make bass sounds mono whilst progressively spreading higher frequencies, but abuse and experimentation will yield some interesting effects too. Thr33some has 2 methods of stereo spread and with gain and pan per band you have total control over all 3 bands. You can also make each band full spectrum to get 3 full layers and control in and out gain with metering to keep levels under control. There is also a multi-out version for individual processing of each band in your DAW.
