One of the most interesting DJ controllers of the last years is, without doubt, the 4MidiLoop DJ controller. Its developer Ivo Glanzmann now introduces another great looking midi controller for sophisticated DJs, called 4TrackTrigger. This new Traktor controller has been developed together with the German Faderfox company.
The beat goes on … with Traktor Pro 2. 4Midiloop have added lots of news and a video tutorial on their website. Now you can find tutorial video’s, party video’s, reviews, example midi setups, user manuals, pictures of the 4midiloop, from producers and DJ’s as well as DJ mixes and live recordings from party’s at the 4Midiloop website.
Playing with ‘gear’ is the average Gearjunkies ‘wet dream‘ (so to speak). As it happened we were able to get four top DJ Midi Controllers in the same room at the same time. As two of the Gearjunkies founders (Marc and Mark) have a strong DJ heritage we’d decided to throw a party to have some good ol’ DJ Fun! Plus at the same time, do a good comparison between the controllers that were available.
From time to time there’s always a new product that still surprises us. It stands out as NOT following the current ‘standard’. The 4MidiLoop stands out of the crowd and is definitely not your standard DJ controller like the S4 Kontrol or the DN-MC6000. We already knew the little Faderfox controllers, and it’s save to say the 4MidiLoop is based on this Faderfox technology.
We are excited about this one. The 4MidiLoop controller quite made a buzz already for being one ‘hell of a controller’. It would give the NI S4 Kontrol some real competition. Obviously we were intrigued by this puppy and thanks to the guys in Switzerland we are given the opportunity to have a go with the 4MidiLoop DJ Controller. After some difficulties at the Dutch Customs (*sigh*), we finally got our hands on our review model today. So the fun can begin.
Glanzmann has announced that their new DJ Controller is ready for ordering and shipment. In collaboration with FADERFOX, Glanzmann Digital DJ Solutions has developed the new 4midiloop controller which is the first controller allowing an entire and simultaneous control over four decks and four Effect-Slots in Traktor Pro.
