Universal binary support for Mac Intel users and improved stability are the main features of the new Virus TI operating system. Version 1.2.3. resolves startup and synchronisation issues, improves the handling of 48k projects, offers faster starting up of the Virus Control plug in and other refinements.
The new operating system version for the TI range of synthesizers features a new Direct Monitoring mode and plasma style VU meters for each individual part along with bug fixes and refinements.
The Virus TI synth has been an ongoing development since it was first announced early last year. It birdges the gap between hardware synth and virtual instrument with a USB port for running the TI as a plug-in from inside a host application.
Access has released a version 1.0.9 update for the Virus TI, which features an array of enhancements and new functionality and will be available during February, 2006. Besides improved stability, there are two new browser functions (“Sort By Category” and “Search by Name”) plus a new “Remote Mode” to turn the Virus TI into a universal MIDI control surface.
