New SilverLine plug-in from D16

Without giving us too much details D16 group announced their new Silverline plugin, Toraverb (Space Modulated Reverb). More details about this unit will be revealed next week. D16 have posted a few samples on their web site. Official release is planned on the end of July 2009. Toraverb is now available for 29 Eur (in preorder offer) and its official retail price will be 35 Eur – in a day of release, and that day will be included to their bundles.

SPL releases Analog Code MicroPlugs

SPL has just announced the release of three new plug-ins in its new Analog Code MicroPlugs series: Attacker, Mo-Verb and De-Verb. The MicroPlugs employ the same processing technique like the original Transient Designer. SPL’s Differential Envelope Technology has revolutionized dynamic processing with a level-independent method, according to SPL. This radically different approach allows to forego the setting of a threshold. Other parameters are set automatically and in a musical manner as they follow the characteristics of the input signal.

Indaba Music Console launched

Indaba Music JavaFX-powered digital audio workstation has been launched today. Ok, it is not really a coffee table, it just looks like one! No, it is the Microsoft Surface controller/display/thingy. VectorForm, a Microsoft Surface Partner have developed a fun DJ tool for the novice on Microsoft Surface. Vectorforms DJ application started simple, and grew from there.
