TerraTec ships Phase 24 firewire audio interface

Boasting outstanding technical specs – to include two balanced analog inputs/outputs, digital and MIDI I/O as well as a FireWire connection – the external PHASE 24 FireWire audio interface by TerraTec Producer offers the perfect appointments for recording sessions and mobile notebook-based applications. The package also contains the software “Traktor DJ” from Native Instruments and Steinberg´s “WaveLab Lite”, featuring full 24-bit/192-kHz resolution.

The two analog mono inputs/outputs are professional-quality 6.3 mm (1/4″) balanced jack plug connectors. The studio standard facilitates the connection of further equipment. For example, DJs can produce a mix on a laptop using suitable software such as Native Instruments “Traktor DJ” (included in the package), and immediately extend the mix by adding an external beat-box, inserting effect devices between the PHASE 24 FireWire and the computer, and controlling the entire setup via a MIDI keyboard. What’s more, the device features a variable stereo out that serve as a headphones or line level output. This feature provides a permanent means of monitoring sound, which is compellingly full and brilliant courtesy of the excellent 24 kHz Bit/192 signal processing and 111 dB signal-to-noise ratio (at the converter).

The package also contains a cord equipped with digital I/O and MIDI I/O, three adapter connectors, FireWire™ cable and adapters, a 9V power unit, a manual, and a BeSonic Premium Account.

Priced at 249.00 euros (MSRP), the PHASE 24 FireWire hit stores now.
