Arjen and Aram of Audio Ease went by Frank Zappa’s studio, the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, to meet with Dweezil Zappa and together record the acoustics of both the tracking room and the famous Zappa echo chamber. Microphones and speaker in the echo chamber were set up just the way Frank had left them.
Audio Ease have released some spectacular impulse responses for your Altiverb this summer. As always, they are free downloads for all Altiverb Users. This release is an outdoor ir set: 19 new street samples were made at wide variety of locations at a moonlit business park near Audio Ease head quarters. The free Altiverb 6.3.3 update reduces the memory footprint. With last years 6.3 update Altiverb became considerably lighter on the cpu, this year Audio Ease were able to reduce the memory footprint of Altiverb by 30 to 50%. There is no tradeoff. Everything still functions the way it used to, but your larger sessions will run smoother than before.

Audio Ease has updated Altiverb to version 6.0.7. Altiverb 6 is a convolution reverb plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows XP. Altiverb 6 offers the most extensive set of parameters, it supports all professional plug-in formats including protools TDM on the Mac, parameter automation and surround.

Broadening its support for Mac Pro Tools|HD systems two additional projects have commenced since the release of the original Altiverb 6 TDM plugin in January.
Audio Ease today released Altiverb 6. The most striking new feature is support for Pro Tools TDM hardware on Mac OS X. For the first time Audio Eases renowned library of impulse responses becomes available to the Pro Tools HD Accel chips. For the first time it is possible to generate stereo reverb from a single chip, and over 2 seconds of it. In addition Altiverb 6 can tie chips together to create up to 25 seconds of reverb.
