MindPrint ships T.R.I.O. recording solution

TRIO integrates all essential outboard components for quality recording and monitoring. TRIO is now shipping to dealers worldwide from Mindprint’s German home base. The innovative concept provides all features for high quality recording projects in one box: A great sounding channel strip with true analog EQ and compressor, essential mixing features, an additional EQ-equipped stereo line input, AUX and DAW inputs, a truly comprehensive monitoring solution and even a digital interface.

“We are really excited about TRIO, and honored by the overwhelming reactions the concept received at the Winter NAMM show. It is great to see that our excitement is shared by the market.”, says Mindprint’s Product Manager Rüdiger Forse. “ And it’s fun to see our vision become a reality!”

A lot of attention was paid to sonic detail: The channel strip section provides a high quality Class A microphone-input with phantom power and an instrument input developed by Mindprint’s sister company Hughes & Kettner. The EQ’s section was inspired by renowned vintage designs and delivers that much coveted “expensive” vocal sound. The compressor’s unique Adaptive ResponseTM mode is taken directly from Mindprint’s high-end DTC Dual Tube Channel for superior results – requiring just one knob! TRIO includes all essential mixing features required for a typical home recording setup: Mic./Instrument, Stereo Line, Stereo AUX and DAW Return may all be used simultaneously. The dual headphone amp has separate volume controls, and the latency-free monitoring mixer ensures instant access.

TRIO also sports a mixing desk’s complete monitoring section with talkback, MONO, DIM and MUTE functions, outputs for 3 pairs of speakers – and a dedicated master volume knob. The on-board S/PDIF digital interface allows direct connection with most setups, like Apple’s G5 and many PC and Mac compatible audio interfaces.
