Motu 4pre audio interface now shipping

MOTU is now shipping the 4pre, a compact, half-rack 6×8 hybrid audio interface and mixer. The 4pre connects via FireWire or hi-speed USB2 to a Mac or PC computer and delivers professional audio quality, straightforward front-panel mixing, and plenty of I/O, including four mic inputs with preamps, alternative guitar/line inputs, four channels of analog output, stereo S/PDIF and two stereo headphone outputs. Advanced features include digitally controlled analog trim, DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) audio clocking for exceptionally low jitter performance, and an instrument tuner.

Tascam US-125M USB audio interface with Mixer functionality released

TASCAM, a well-known veteran for creating home recording devices, today launched the US-125M, an USB audio interface with Mixer functionality. It combines a mic, instrument and line source with a computer audio signal and it feeds the mix to your computer via USB. The US-125M provides up to 16 bit/48 KHz audio resolution and is ideal for broadcasting over the Internet. It features four inputs with dedicated level controls: a Microphone input (balanced XLR/TRS on rear or unbalanced mini jack on front) with switchable limiter and Signal/Overload indicator, a Guitar input (standard phone jack), a Stereo line input (RCA) and a Stereo audio input from computer via USB.
