Messe impressions part 1

We have arrived at MusikMesse, and here’s an overview of our first impressions of what we have seen. Lots of Messe novelties, but also a lot of gear that was introduced at NAMM and is shown for the first time here. Before we go in depth, here’s our report of scratching the surface.

Numark MPC DJ

It’s big, it’s bold, it’s the MPC DJ.

Studiologic Sledge

A new synthesizer. Looking at it and touching it, we couldn’t help thinking Bob the Builder.

Reloop Beat Mix

Introduced at MusikMesse, the new Reloop Beat Mix controller, is an entry level DJ controller built for Virtual DJ. More info at Reloop Beat Mix announcement.

Stanton DJC.4

There’s new stuff from Gibson owned Stanton, the DJC.4, a 4 channel (2-fader) DJ controller. We’ll be getting more into it. Here’s a picture of it already.

Denon DJ MC3000

Another new controller from Denon, the MC3000. Two channel version. Take a look.

Roland Jupiter-50

It’s new. Here’s a picture together with its updated sister, the Jupiter-80-v2.0, but there will be more. There a Jupiter 50 announcement with more info for now,
