In this documentary, Tom Compagnoni takes you into the world of the sampler that changed the music industry forever. This docu takes you from the birth of the Fairlight CMI, its cultural impact to its eventual demise.
The story is told through interviews with Kim Ryrie and Peter Vogel, both the founders of Fairlight , Fairlight engineer Peter Wielk and Professor Samantha Bennett of the ANU School of Music.
