Arturia MiniLab 37 Expands the Formula With More Keys and Better Control

Arturia has officially expanded its popular MiniLab lineup with the new MiniLab 37, a compact MIDI controller aimed at producers who want a little more playing space without sacrificing portability.

Building on the foundation of the MiniLab 3, the MiniLab 37 adds a larger 37-note velocity-sensitive slim-key keyboard and a refreshed control layout designed to make everyday production tasks feel faster and more intuitive. The controller features eight assignable encoders, four smooth faders, eight RGB velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads, touch-sensitive pitch and modulation strips, a mini display with browser control, and deeper integration with Analog Lab and major DAWs.

Workflow is clearly a focus here. Features like Hold and Chord modes, quick MIDI channel selection, octave and semitone transposition, clip and drum control switching, and the ability to control multiple instruments at once make it a flexible option for both studio work and live performance.

Connectivity goes beyond the basics, too. Alongside USB-C bus power, MiniLab 37 includes a control pedal input and a 5-pin MIDI output for connecting hardware synths and other external gear. It can even act as a clock source for external instruments or run from a USB power bank for mobile setups.

Arturia is also pushing sustainability with at least 50% recycled plastic construction, fully recyclable packaging, and a five-year warranty.

Like previous MiniLab models, the controller ships with a collection of sounds, samples, and music-making software used by professional producers and composers. For anyone looking for a compact controller that balances portability, hands-on control, and hardware connectivity, this is one worth keeping on your radar.
