Yamaha announce new series of Keyboard Controllers

Yamaha will be showing us their new series of ‘Keyboard Studios’, the KX series. The KX25, KX49, KX61, and KX8 USB Keyboard Studios were conceived and designed to support creativity and MIDI music composition without getting in the way. Based on a range of innovative features with advanced software integration and connectivity via a single USB cable, these control keyboards help create an efficient environment that supports traditional music production workflow.

genoQs releases special edition of Octopus

The Octopus BlackSea special edition does not only look uniquely exciting. It also brings the brand new OS 1.40. Octopus is a MIDI sequencer, simply put, a machine to generate control data for sound-producing devices, e.g. synthesizers. Octopus’ most outstanding trait is probably its recognition by an authoritative audience as a musical instrument. The merit lies in the fact that comparable products are traditionally perceived as ‘just’ intricate electronic devices.

RME 8-channel AES-42 interface available now

The DMC-842 is both an 8-channels AES42 interface as well as a controller for digital microphones. The unique device allows for connection and control of up to 8 digital microphones, and converting their signals to ADAT, AES/EBU, analog and (optional) MADI. Eight individually switchable hi-end sample rate converters offer a flexible clocking and further usage options, especially as the inputs are compatible to AES3 and AES/EBU too.
