Apple today released a developer preview of Mac OS® X Lion, which takes some of the best ideas from iPad™ and brings them back to the Mac® for the eighth major release of the world’s most advanced operating system. Lion features Mission Control, an innovative new view of everything running on your Mac; Launchpad, a new home for all your Mac apps; full screen apps that use the entire Mac display; and new Multi-Touch™ gestures. Lion also includes the Mac App Store℠, the best place to discover, install and automatically update Mac apps. The Lion preview is available to Mac Developer Program members through the Mac App Store today, and the final version of Lion will ship to customers this summer.

Mobile iPad studios. There are manny apps available. I always wondered why company’s that make DAWs in the computer world don’t make iOS apps of their DAW. Until now! Often we get software offered for reviews and just plain ‘checking out’. Last year we got offered Vegas Pro software. Not sure what to expect, and kind of curious, we installed it here at the office. If you are still not sure what Vegas is, it is a software suite for video. And as we (I) am more into the audio side of things, it was not quite clear what to expect from this software. We made Gearjunkies videos before but with simple ‘freeware’ software. Doing a thorough review would be silly as we don’t have the ‘video technology know-how’. So I decided to take on a ‘project’. Why don’t I, a video software user with a ‘beginners’ level, make a videoclip?
