An Argentinian website leaked two pictures what seems te be two new analog synthesizers from Korg: the King-Korg (with simular looks as the Kawai K5000S/W) and a new MS20 analog synth, based on the controller from the Legacy bundle. We can’t wait for the NAMM 2013!

Since first appearing on the 2006 Asian Dynasty Records compilation Perfect Strangers Electronic, SERi has been energetically releasing material on domestic and overseas labels, as well as continuing to play live. Moog Music have released a new version of their synth app, AniMoog. Version 2.0 is since yesterday available at the app store.
Solid State Logic, the world’s leading manufacturer of analogue and digital audio consoles, is pleased to announce that in-demand mixer, producer, and seasoned Solid State Logic user Bruno Ellingham has installed an X-Desk, X-Logic G Series compressor, X-Panda summing system and Alpha-Link I/O system in his mix room within Massive Attack’s Bristol-based studio complex. Here he has put his newfound SSL combo to good use, giving Massive Attack’s seminal Blue Lines album a contemporary mixing makeover fit for its 20th anniversary re-release, matching the critically acclaimed recording with a truly 21st century take on its sound. All but two tracks from Blue Lines were originally mixed on a large-format SSL console in London’s long-gone Matrix Studios so Bruno turned to SSL again for the new project: “The new SSL technology enabled me to easily match the large-format console size of sound that we wanted.“
Mount Kimbie are an electronic production duo based in South London. Members Dominic Maker and Kai Campos met at university and released their debut album ‘Crooks & Lovers’ on Hotflush Recordings in 2010.
Podolski is a simple, CPU-efficient virtual analogue synthesizer. Basically a cut down version of FilterscapeVA with just one oscillator, one filter, one envelope and two LFOs, it also features a Zebra-style arpeggiator/sequencer plus chorus and delay effects. Podolski’s specialities are the Click parameter (emphasizes the filter attack) and its ability to seamlessly morph between three waveforms (WaveWarp).
Wave Alchemy have announced the release of Transistor Revolution, an accurate re-creation of the iconic TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines for Kontakt 5 Player. Using a custom GUI, 22,000 samples and Kontakt 5’s advanced sampling engine with over 100,000 lines of unique script, Transistor Revolution faithfully captures the tone, immediacy and groove of the classic TR-808 and TR-909 transistor rhythm machines.
After releasing two pedals and a CV motion controller in one year, Berlin based musical instruments manufacturer KOMA Elektronik are slowly moving into the world of modular synthesizers. Last month they announced the release of a tap tempo module for Eurorack synthesizers, but first there is the KOMA SVF-201: a state variable filter for the eurorack modular synthesizer format!
