Native Instruments announces Razor VSTi
Native Instruments have released the first ‘signs’ of a new instrument on Youtube. The new VSTi RAZOR is a collaboration with Errorsmith, a Berlin based electronic musician. Backed by his studies of communication and computer science errorsmith builds his own instruments using a modular software synthesizer. Now, together with Native Instruments they have developed RAZOR.

Developed in Australia during the ’70s and ’80s, the Fairlight CMI (Computer Musical Instrument) was the first commercial sampler and screen-based rhythm sequencer. Today every sampler, digital synthesizer, sequencer and audio workstation can trace its lineage back to this legendary machine.
