New StudioTrack iPad App from Sonoma Wire Works
StudioTrack is a powerful songwriting tool for musicians who want to capture musical ideas and record songs on the iPad. Every channel includes a reverb send and a configurable effects rack. Effect options include a delay, EQ, and a compressor. The master channel has a Reverb Return knob as well as a parametric EQ and a stereo master compressor-limiter. StudioTrack multitrack recorder for iPad, developed by Sonoma Wire Works and Retronyms, is now available on iTunes for $39.99.

Korg iElectribe … yes for the iPad!
It seems that KORG is (yet again) the first manufacturer to release an iPad dedicated instrument, the iElectribe. With this app Korg emulated the ELECTRIBE hardware interface into software, with preset management via a standard iPad-style menu.

Final MusikMesse post – Gearjunkies Video Tour
Here it is, … our final MusikMesse post. This year (like the previous ones) we shot a lot of pictures and video footage. Not everything ended up in a post on Gearjunkies. But we thought we could compile most of the video footage and make a MusikMesse Tour to give you a short impression of the Messe this year. We want to thank all the manufacturers who gave us the opportunity to play with their latest gear. We enjoyed that very much. We call ourselves ‘gearjunkies’ for a reason of course!

The Monomachine SFX-60+ MKII can be loaded with more than 8000 user waveforms.

New Midi-Triggered Loop Sampler from de la Mancha
loophole is a midi-triggered loop sampler, which allows you play sections of up to 4 different loops using midi notes to control which section of which loop plays. This can be a great way to mash up 4 different loop styles or add quick variations on 4 similar loops. As well as having full control of which sections to play, you can also trigger random sections too (well this is a de la Mancha plugin!).
