Free Spectrasonics iPhone Remote app for Omnisphere
Omni Live is designed to turn an iPhone (or iPod Touch) into a simple, wireless remote control of Omnisphere’s “Live Mode” page via the touch-screen interface on the small, portable devices. Since Omnisphere’s Live Mode already allows multiple sound selection, the iPhone’s multi-touch display makes a useful control surface – especially on the stage.

Nord releases the Chamberlin sounds in the Nord Sample Library
In an exclusive license agreement, Nord now offers a collection of the original Chamberlin tape library in the Nord Sample Library format. These 60 sounds compliment the previously licensed Mellotron sounds very nicely, and are available free of charge for all the Nord Wave and Nord Electro 3 users.

Allen & Heath MusikMesse preview
British mixer manufacturer, Allen & Heath, will be showing a cross section of its latest products at the forthcoming Pro Light & Sound exhibition (MusikMesse) in Frankfurt.
Exhibiting in Hall 8.0 Stand C22, a highlight on the stand will be the newly launched iDR-16 3U MixRack and iLive-R72 rackmountable Control Surface, which together provide a space saving, lightweight digital live mixing system, bringing the same power, sonic performance and flexibility of the larger touring iLive systems to a significantly lower price point.
