The Analogue Monologues – Part VIII: The Korg MS20 – Video

With the eminent release of the new Korg MS-20 Mini just around the corner, Vince Clarke shows us what the original was all about. The Analogue Monologues is a series of mini video-documentaries made by Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode/Yazoo/Erasure). In each webisode Vince talks about one of his analogue synths and explains where the on/off switch is. This series proves, once and for all, that he really doesn’t know much about anything (a must see!).

Something For The Weekend: The Animals House of the Rising Sun Old School Computer Remix

Ok, maybe this video is already one year old. That doesn’t mean it’s outdated or … whatever. We liked it and thought you might too. We came across this video thanks to AIAIAI, who have posted this on their website too. Something For The Weekend: DJ Room Extreme Makeover

Any DJ or producer, professional or ‘bedroom’, knows this problem. If you are serious about your work/hobby, you collect a lot of stuff over the years. If it’s gear, records, CD’s, miscellaneous crap, you name it, your studio gets cluttered. IKEA recognised this problem and made a video of DJ Harry Love and his (HUGE) collection of vinyl records and gear. Like a “Extrem Home Makeover” they turned his DJ room (and house) in a much more liveable environment.
