Sunday november 14th we were present with our very own stand at the Dj Expo, held in the Auditorium of the Eindhoven University. An expo showcasing all the latest Dj gear and electronic music production gear (Hard- and Software). It started at an very early hour to built the stand and getting everything set up for the opening at 09.30 am. For entertainment we had set up a three turntable Dj setup. Over the whole of the day we had invited around 15 Dj’s to do 30 minutes sets, which we broadcasted live on the internet.

Edirol releases Mac OS X Drivers

Edirol has released Version 2.0.1 of Mac OS X drivers for 10 audio interfaces. These new drivers offer improved performance under high CPU loads as well as a further reduction in the already-minimal latency factors. In addition, Edirol has also added an uninstaller for easy removal.

We understand how important it is to have this information readily available to our customers, said Roland Director of Product Management and Marketing. Hopefully, due to the intuitive nature of our products, most of our customers will never even have to consult their product manuals—but for those who do, the resources are just a few keystrokes away.


Effective immediately Roland Corp. US will offer online manuals for the current Roland product line. The company intends to post manuals for legacy product in the near future.

The new FW-1082 Audio/MIDI Interface and Control Surface from TASCAM not only provides tons of audio and MIDI I/O to small studios, but offers a control surface with moving-faders for a previously unheard-of price. The FW-1082 features 10 inputs, including four balanced XLR mic inputs with phantom power. Two MIDI inputs and outputs are also included, plus S/PDIF digital I/O. Eight channÂel strips each feature a 60mm touch-sensitive moving fader and select/solo/mute buttons, and a moving master fader is also provided. The FW-1082 includes the latest TASCAM software bundle: Cubasis LE 96kHz/48-track recording software, GigaStudio 3 LE streaming sampler and Nomad Factory plug-in demos.
