Open Labs releases Timbaland Special Edition MiKo

Open Labs introduced the Timbaland Special Edition MiKo keyboard workcenter today. Roland releases their flaghip SP-555 sampler

Roland has released its new flagship SP-555 Sampling Workstation for its popular SP Sampler lineup. OpenLabs Miko and Neko Upgrade with VST Instruments

Open Labs, the leading designer and developer of computer music production solutions, announced today that it has recently upgraded its line of NeKo and MiKo Keyboard Production Stations with premium sounds and additional software with no increase in price. The new libraries represent the largest number of preset sounds available for any keyboard production station and includes high quality 24-bit sounds not available on any other keyboard.

Ken Macbeth intros the new M5N

At the recent Musikmesse Ken Macbeth introduced the improved M5, the M5N. There have been some refinements in this design of the M5N instrument including yet further tightening of the of the transistor based Envelope Generators, on the ‘FAST’ setting, the Attack/Decay/Release parameters have been shortened by some milliseconds to produce the snappiest envelopes to date.
