TC-Helicon announces co-operation with PG Music

TC-Helicon is proud to announce a licensing agreement with PG Music. The agreement brings TC-Helicon voice technology to PG Music’s Band-in-a-Box music accompaniment program for Windows and significantly enhances the programs capability for vocalists.

The world-leading TC-Helicon natural harmony feature will bring a whole new dimension to Band-in-a-box. The technology enables Band-in-a-Box to generate non real-time vocal harmonies from a recorded vocal audio file. The harmonies are based on PG Music’s harmony logic.

The license agreement with PG Music allows a wider audience to experience TC-Helicon’s technology. Earlier 2003, TC-Helicon supplied similar technology to Korg for their new flagship arranger keyboard Pa1X. “Band-in-a-Box is a great tool for creating and playing arrangements. The combination of our audio harmony technology and PG Music’s harmony arranging tools makes auditioning a vocal sound very easy”, says Kevin Alexander, CEO of TC-Helicon.

PG Music Marketing Manager, Mark Lemna comments: \”PG Music was enthusiastic about working closely with TC-Helicon engineers to bring an important new feature to Band-in-a-Box.\”
The TC-Helicon harmony feature is included with every purchase of Band-in-a-Box 2004 for Windows.
