FabFilter Volcano 1.01 released: important bug fix

FabFilter has released FabFilter Volcano version 1.01 which contains an important bug fix. A serious flaw caused FabFilter Volcano to load its filter sound characteristics ‘Smooth’,
‘Raw’, ‘Hollow’ and ‘Hard’ incorrectly. The 1.01 update fixes this issue, so
the different beautiful filter sound characteristics that make FabFilter
Volcano stand out will now sound as intended.

Another FabFilter Volcano update is planned for July 6, 2005. This update
will add dotted and triplet LFO synchronization modes, MIDI note-on
triggering for EG and LFOs, and an option to link the cut-off, peak, and
panning knobs for both filters. Both updates are free for existing FabFilter
Volcano users.

Originally released on May 25, 2005, FabFilter Volcano is a versatile filter
effect plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X. FabFilter Volcano stands out with
many modulation options and above all FabFilter’s unique digital filter
technology that results in extremely smooth and analog-sounding filters.

FabFilter Volcano is available for $139 (US) as an Audio Units plug-in and a
VST plug-in for Mac OS X and as a VST plug-in for Windows on
www.fabfilter.com. FabFilter One owners can purchase FabFilter Volcano for
just $99 (US). System requirements are either Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) or
higher with an Audio Units or VST 2 host, or Windows XP, 2000, 98, Me, or
2003, with a VST 2 host.
