Numark has a busy week. After other new products became unveiled at the Summer NAMM, Numark today introduced a new DJ mixer and two new DJ Packages.
Numark is pleased to introduce the DM2050 mixer, a compact, tabletop model with three channels designed for the turntablist of today, desktop, and aspiring DJ. With the features DJs demand, including steep 3-band EQ on every channel, a replaceable crossfader with reverse and slope control, a dedicated microphone input with 2-band EQ, and multiple input sources, this entry-level mixer is big on features and easy on ones finances.
Providing the required flexibility to accommodate CD players, turntables, samplers, and additional DJ tools, the new DM2050 provides inputs for 4-6 lines switchable, 2 phono inputs, and a microphone, as well as Master and Record outputs. Providing steep 3-band EQ on every channel with rotary frequency kills, the DM2050 makes it easy to contour the sound exactly to one’s liking. Of particular note, the DM2050 includes a dedicated microphone input with controls for treble, bass, and level. This feature enables one to connect and make adjustments to the microphone without occupying the primary input channels. Further, the DM2050 features a replaceable crossfader with reverse and slope control—enabling DJs to manage the fader’s two channel assignments and the blending of signals exactly as they want.
Numark also introduces the Fusion 111 and the Fusion 494 DJ Packages.
Designed as the ultimate entry-level DJ system, the Fusion 111 includes two TCD05 DJ CD players, an MX05 2-Channel DJ mixer, and the HF125 headphones—all pre-wired and shipped with a sleek, durable black and sliver hard case for the ultimate in portability.
Featuring twin TCD05 DJ CD players, the Fusion 111 has what it takes to keep the party going. With large PLAY and CUE buttons, a search function, a ± 16% music speed adjustment fader, and an LCD display with track, time, and pitch indicators, the TCD05 CD players make it easy to locate just the right song, cue it up, start playback, and control the speed—all with an easy to read, informative display that lets DJs select their preferred time display mode. With support for CD-R discs, DJs can create custom compilation discs. The TCD05 also includes stereo line outputs, a pitch bend function, and a +10 track advance button for rapid track location as opposed to advancing incrementally.
With everything necessary to start spinning like a pro, the new Fusion 494 includes two Numark Axis 4 CD players, the DM950 mixer, and the HF 125 headphones—all pre-wired and shipped with the CS-6 hard case for easy transport. Targeted for DJs and aspiring DJs interested in tabletop performance at an affordable price, the Fusion 494 takes value to an entirely new level.
At the heart of the Fusion 494 system are twin Axis 4 CD players. Featuring two seamless loop points and three stutter starts, the Axis 4 provides a wealth of creative options for the expressive DJ. With their built-in tap BPM counters, beat mixing doesn’t get any easier, and with fader/remote start and relay capability, DJs can take their skills to a new level of performance. The Axis 4’s big rubberized pitch control wheel facilitates ± 8/16% pitch bend capability with the push and pull technique DJs have come to expect, and the durable steel enclosures with laser shutoff mode and auto-retractable media trays ensure rugged, reliable operation night after night.
