We have mentioned the DJ Mixtools from Loopmasters before. We think it is a lot more then your standard loops and sample pack. The DJ MIXTOOLS from LOOPMASTERS is a brand new concept for forward-thinking DJs and live artists. Imagine buying a track but then being able to separate that track into its key elements and having ROYALTY FREE access to remix, effect, chop and loop the parts in your own individual style to create an exciting and refreshing new mix… Already 8 packs have been released till now in various dance genres. Recently Loopmasters have released volumes 9, 10 and 11. Expanding the series even further.

As far as I have understood this is (only) a Design and Concept for the 76 Synthesizer iPad Application. This ‘concept’ originated in the brain of Jonas Eriksson, an award winning Designer / Developer who is currently located in Sweden and Los Angeles, USA.

Taking full advantage of the new midi features of the recently released iOS 4.2 Eyosido Software released their eyoControl app for the iPad. eyoControl lets you control your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software from your iPad in various ways, such as a control surface or a virtual instrument. eyoControl communicates with your DAW through the dedicated eyoControl Server running on a laptop or desktop Mac computer. The eyoControl Server lets you connect multiple iPads running eyoControl to play virtual instruments alltogether on the same DAW. eyoControl supports most DAW software such as Logic, Cubase.
